What is Coin Flip / Dice Roller?

A coin flip and dice roller is a digital randomization tool that simulates tossing a coin or rolling dice. These are among the oldest and most universal methods of generating random outcomes, used in games, decision-making, education, and statistics.

Our free online coin flip and dice roller uses JavaScript's random number generation to simulate fair coin tosses and dice rolls. The coin flipper produces an unbiased 50/50 result (Heads or Tails), while the dice roller supports all standard polyhedral dice used in tabletop gaming: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 (percentile). You can roll up to 10 dice at once and see individual results plus the total.

Both tools maintain a history of recent results, making it easy to track outcomes over multiple trials. The coin flipper shows a running count of Heads vs Tails, while the dice roller logs each roll with its notation (like "2d6") and total.

All randomization happens locally in your browser. No results are sent to any server, and the tool works instantly without any network connection after the page loads.
